These are rules that apply to a specific channel on The PAD Matrix Chat.

Mature Artwork

1. Don’t complain about artwork you don’t own

This especially applies to:

By our definition, "causing drama" means “intentionally raising topics of discussion which you know—or are made aware—are contentious” and violates rule #2 of the PAD Matrix Rules.

Complaining about art is contentious by its nature! Please remember that many of the artists who created the work in the first place, and many of the people who commission that artwork, are members of PAD. Sharing something you’ve invested in and getting complaints in response feels shitty, and makes people not want to share their awesome with PAD. And, frankly, it's a bit of a dick move, which violates rule #1.

If you want to talk about how art is made, please do so in #outside-the-pridelands. If it’s your own art, or art you own, you may request feedback in #creative-den. However, in all channels, keep the conversation away from complaints about specific art, and to discussion about a topic. (i.e., “What can the community do to make watermarks unnecessary?” not “Artist X sucks because they put a watermark on piece Y”)
